한 동네에 살며 새벽마다 함께 조기축구를 했던 강국진 형
김한형, 여운 아우, 김선 아우들과
으악새에서 성산동에서
날이면 날마다 이마를 마주 대던 강국진 형
파이프를 물고
고즈넉이 앉아 화실 창 밖을 바라보거나
말 없이 친구들 이야기 듣기만 하던 강국진 형
오늘 새롭게 형의 이름을
다시 불러 보는 까닭은
형의 작가정신이야말로
영원히 살아 있음을 내 믿기 때문이요.
지금은 모두 성산동을 떠나
뿔뿔이 흩어져 살고 있지만
부르면 다시 만날 수 있고
그리워지면 달려갈 수 있는
우리들그러나 유독 강국진 형 만이
그 모습 보이지 않음
왜 이리 억울하고 아깝기만 하는지
언제나 흔들림이 없던 듬직한 몸가짐
너그러운 마음 쓰임
내 오늘 형의 이름을 다시 불러보는 까닭은
강국진 형과 같은 사람
왜 이렇게 만나기가 어려운지 답답하기 때문이오.

One who resorted to early morning football sessions
Hanhyung Kim, Yeoun and Sun Kim brothers alongside with
From Eulalia to Sungsan dong
Got our foreheads together
To talk smoking pipes
Sitting in tranquility looking out the window
Sitting there to listen rather than say
We call out for you
For we remember
Your spirit still admired
Yet scattered from Sungsan dong
But for reunion we are still able to make
As we miss one another
Only you cannot be seen or heard
The scene truly saddening and wasteful
Never reeled in weakness
One so generous
For we remember
Presence felt like yours never recur in our lives
