1972, 투명 비닐 시트 3장, 하드보드 3장, 색지, 책상, 천
세 장의 투명 비닐 시트가 원통형으로 말아져 테이블 위에 놓여 있다. 강국진이 ‘청년작가연립전’(1967)과 제1회 ‘앙데팡당전’(1972) 무렵 시도했던 오브제들의 재조합이다. 왼쪽의 원통 형태는 내부 중간에 원형 하드보드만 들어있는 체 투명한 상태이고, 중앙의 것은 붉은 색지가 붙여져 수직적 느낌을 강조한다. 오른쪽의 원통형에는 몇 개의 곡선적 형태를 그려 넣었다. 세 개의 오브제는 마치 세 폭 제단화(triptych)의 형식을 이루는 것처럼 보이며, 각각 ‘비어있음’과 ‘기하적 직선’ 그리고 ‘유기적 곡선’이라는 조형적 요소들을 결합시키고 있다. This is another re-compounding of objects that is in line with the ‘Indepandant Exhibition’ (1972). The three transparent vinyl sheets are circumvoluted in cylinder shape. One of the cylindrical objects on the left is see-through with circular-shaped hardboards placed in the milieu, and the one in the center has colored papers stuck on it, perpendicularly arranged. And finally the one on the right has a few curved lines drawn onto it. The three seem to form a formative triptych, creating a mix of the ‘void’, ‘geometric means’ and ‘the dynamics of flexibility’.
